Asad Syrkett

Asad Syrkett is an American design editor and writer and from 2020 to 2024, he served as Editor in Chief of Elle Decor. Previously, he spent a decade as an editor of print and digital media. Asad has guest-lectured at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, the Rhode Island School of Design, and the School of Visual Arts, and written for several books on interiors. He graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Art History with a focus on Architectural History and Theory.
