Curator for Design, Fashion, Crafts, Director Museo del Design Italiano - Triennale Milano

Marco Sammicheli (Fano, 1979) is Curator for Design, Fashion, and Craft and Director of the Museo del Design Italiano at Triennale Milano. Since 2018, he has also represented the institution at the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in Paris. He has curated exhibitions across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, and authored essays and publications for cultural institutions. A regular contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore and Interni, he has curated books, exhibitions, and research on Mario Bellini, Carlo Mollino, Steven Holl, and Zaha Hadid.
Among his most recent exhibition projects are monographic shows dedicated to Alberto Meda, Inga Sempé, Monica Bolzoni, Franco Raggi, and Ettore Sottsass at Triennale Milano, the retrospective on Estúdio Campana at the Power Station of Art in Shanghai, and the Bruno Munari retrospective at the Museo del Novecento in Milan. He is an adjunct professor at Università Cattolica in Milan and serves on the boards of the Collezione Paolo VI, the Cirulli Foundation, the Magistretti Foundation, and the ITS Arcademy Foundation.
