The Fondazione Museo Ceramica Savona manages the Museo della Ceramica di Savona and the MuDA – Museo Diffuso di Albissola Marina. The Museo della Ceramica di Savona is located in the historic center of the city and is housed in the ancient Palazzo del Monte di Pietà. Spanning five floors of history and featuring an innovative exhibition design, the museum offers a fascinating journey through the periods and languages of Savona’s ceramic tradition: from the Renaissance to the twentieth century, from Futurism to design and contemporary art. More than one thousand works from the permanent collection are presented alongside projects and temporary exhibitions, highlighting the deep connection between the region’s ceramic production and national and international artistic movements.
