Reinhold Ludwig
Publisher and Editor-in-chief Art Aurea
Born in 1948 in Bavaria, Germany, Reinhold Ludwig worked as a typesetter from 1963 to 1965. After studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Media in Stuttgart and a specialisation in Journalism and Philosophy, Ludwig was appointed Editor and Editor-in-chief at Ebner Verlag at Ulm, Germany. He was founder of Art Aurea in 1985 and Chronos in 1988. In the 1990s, Ludwig participated actively in the development of international magazines such as Watch Time, USA, and Chronos, China. Since 2007 he has been working as an independent editor and publisher. Among other publications, he issued the book Modern Jewelry Design in 2008, published by Arnoldsche, Stuttgart. In 2010 he relaunched Art Aurea as a bilingual Arts & Crafts magazine of which he is Publisher and Editor-in-chief. The new Art Aurea published its 52nd issue in June 2023.
