Emanuele Farneti, law degree cum laude, journalist. He has has been editor-in-chief of many publications, including AD, GQ, Flair and Icon (which he founded in Italy and Spain). In 2017, following the death of Franca Sozzani, he took over as editor of Vogue Italia. Under his tenure the magazine published many of the best-known covers in recent years: from the one left completely blank on the eve of the pandemic outbreak to the one in which fashion illustration replaced photography, as well as a series entirely drawn by schoolchildren. In 2021 he switched to Gedi News Network, taking on the role of head of fashion content for the group's various titles, as well as becoming Editor-in-chief of the weekly d, which he then relaunched with the collaboration of leading international photographers and stylists. In April 2023, he conceived and launched door, Repubblica's new interior magazine.
