Ceramics foundations 1: hand-building and modeling
Ceramics Foundations introduces participants to clay modeling, providing a comprehensive set of theoretical and practical knowledge for creating simple forms, everyday objects, and decorative items. The ceramic experience invites attendees to explore new parts of themselves through hands-on application, engaging with the material and interacting with others. Throughout the lessons, each participant will experiment with the application of the main hand-building techniques for clay, from pinching to coiling to slab construction. Designed for those approaching ceramics for the first time or looking to reacquaint themselves with the material, the course is structured into four lessons of two and a half hours each, held weekly. In addition to firing and delivering the individual pieces created, participants will receive a certificate of participation and a collection of notes and handouts useful for continuing their exploration of ceramics.
No prior experience required. This course is also suitable for those looking to reacquaint themselves with ceramics.

This process can take up to three weeks. Participants will receive an email notification when their pieces are ready for pickup; from this date, storage of the pieces is guaranteed for a period not exceeding 45 days.
