The Wheel Throwing Course is designed to guide participants in creating ceramic objects using the technique of wheel throwing. Over six lessons, and under the guidance of an experienced instructor, students will develop and refine the fundamental skills needed to work with clay on the potter’s wheel. Throughout the course, participants will learn and practice essential techniques — from centering the clay to shaping and turning — with the goal of producing simple, functional forms such as bowls, cylindrical jars, vessels, and cups. The last lesson will be entirely dedicated to glazing the pieces created by each participant, in preparation for kiln firing. Once the firing process is complete, students will be invited to collect their finished works. The course fee includes all necessary materials, exclusive use of a wheel workstation, and the final firing of the wheel-thrown pieces.

No prior experience required; this course is suitable for all levels.
