Pavilion 25, booth B93

Officine Saffi presents an exhibition by Carlo Zauli (1926-2002) and Nanni Valentini (1932-1985), two artists who have chosen ceramics as their main medium and who have been able to draw all its strength and poetry. The exhibition presents some very important pieces, such as the "Circle" by Nanni Valentini, a 1982 work produced for the artist's solo exhibition at the Venice Biennale; Also on display is "Black Pollution", a work from the Zauli Museum Collection, representative of the most intense period of the artist's career. These important ceramic sculptures are accompanied by drawings, graphics and papers which help to fully understand the poetics of these historical artists who are still too little rewarded by the market.
