Glazing

The Glaze Course aims to delve into the world of ceramic coatings. Specifically, theoretical-practical notions on the characteristics of high temperature (1250°C) glazes will be addressed. The course is aimed at professionals and enthusiasts with a basic knowledge of ceramics and will be held in five meetings of two hours each for a group of max 8 people. During the course it will be possible to learn a method for experimenting with the characteristics of glazes, how to use additives for their customization, and thus design and create a palette for one's own ceramics. At the end of the course, each student will have become familiar with the technology of glazes, taking home a set of recipes and a reference palette for their own projects.
