Infinite source of inspiration that has accompanied the history of ceramics since its beginnings, the vase is the object that best activates the expressive potential of clay. In this intensive six-hour workshop, each participant will be guided through the fundamentals of ceramics and the application of the slab technique to create a flat vase.

Drawing inspiration from models such as Matisse's cut-outs, Cocteau's drawings, and other works by 20th-century masters, we will work on interpreting the vase as a 'canvas' for decoration and figurative or abstract representation. In the first part of the day, participants will focus on forming the vase, while the afternoon will be dedicated to decorating with engobe colors and finishing the individual creations. After being glazed with a clear crystalline finish by our technicians in the days following the workshop, the pieces can be collected by participants after approximately three weeks.

No experience required; suitable for all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).
